A three-goal flurry late in the third period put Chenango Valley’s boys ahead to stay in a 10-8 lacrosse victory over Maine-Endicott on Saturday at Union-Endicott’s Ty Cobb Stadium.
Eight CV players scored, that group including Chris Mack, who struck with four seconds to play in the third quarter for an 8-7 advantage.
After M-E took a 7-5 lead, long-stick midfielder Kenny Jacobs started CV’s burst by scoring with 1:43 to play in the third, and Coty Guenther tied it shortly thereafter.
Jon Gerlach’s three goals led CV (1-2).
