Chenango Valley 68, Owego 59

CHENANGO VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL In somewhat of a surprising come-from-behind win Friday, the Chenango Valley Warriors beat the Owego Indians 68-59. The game was full of exciting moments, especially when it came down to the last two quarters and CV was down. Great defense, along with the help of a red-hot offense led by Matt Mullins, who scored 31 points, the Warriors were able to upset Owego in front of the home crowd. Owego did have some great chances, and with Jack Keough’s 27 points, handed CV a tough game.

Chenango Valley Boys’ basketball has had an average season, being 3-4 in their division and 6-4 overall. This Tuesday, CV travels to Norwich, an 8-3 team overall for a non-division match-up.
