CV wins weather-controlled game 21-6

The Chenango Valley Warriors varsity football team won 21-6 against the Owego Free Academy Indians Saturday. The Warriors refused to lose in a game started at 1:30 and ended at 6:30 because of thunderstorm delays in the 3rd quarter with 2:50 left on the clock. They returned to the field ready to win. The game was ended for good after a Chenango Valley goal line stand and 60-yard Trevor Cola touchdown run as referees spotted lighting in the sky. Cola had three touchdowns in the game.
