The rumors have been flying around Chenango Valley High School this week, and for good reason. If you don’t already know, Trent Patterson, CV’s security guard (and all around nice guy) has been absent from his school job and has been a contestant on NBC’s “The Biggest Loser” – a game show in which the contestant who loses the most percent body mass by the end of the show wins money and prizes. He has been taping since the middle of October. This week, rumors started to circulate that Mr. Patterson would be returning to Chenango Valley High School, along with a camera crew from NBC to film a “Christmas Homecoming” for the game show contestant. A combined middle school-high school pep rally is apparently in the works, if the CV-NBC team can schedule it. The Warrior Report has confirmed with several sources at the school that NBC cameras will be operating in school tommorow, but we do not know where or when. Not much else is known at this time, but steps are being taken to make sure that if an assembly is tomorrow, it will be of grand poportion. The CV Band has been practicing fight songs, and the hallways have been buzzing with excitment for the return of Mr. Patterson to CVHS. Mr. Patterson is teaming up with a former college football teammate Roger for the reality show, which premiers on Janurary 1st, at 8/7c on NBC. Not much is known at this time, but look to The Warrior Report for updates. Hopefully, Chenango Valley High School will be featured on national TV.
