Chenango Valley Warriors: 65
Seton Catholic Central Saints: 59

Matt
Mullins said after the game, “All of the Seniors on the team have never beat Seton before, ever. From 9th grade to Senior year. We really wanted it.” In a packed gym divided only by red and green shirts, the Warriors were victorious. The Chenango Valley Warriors varsity boys’ basketball team beat the Seton Catholic Central Saints 65-59 in the Section 4 Class B semi-final Wednesday night at Johnson City High School. Senior Matt Mullins led the Warriors with 23 points, most coming from the foul line as CV beat Seton for the first time this year. The Warriors came with intensity, and with the help of the 6th Man, they beat the best team in Class B when it mattered most. Chenango Valley takes on Lansing in the finals this Friday night, 7:45p.m. at the Broome County Veteran’s Memorial Arena.
