CHENANGO FORKS BLUE DEVILS: 23

Bitter rivals – it was quite the game.

Even though a Ricky Ruffo kickoff return sparked a fire under CV’s offense and a Rocco Testani touchdown pass to Josh Klepfer gave CV an early 6-3 lead, Chenango Forks beat Chenango Valley for the 15th time in a row – this time on a cool but gorgeous autumn day in front of the home crowd.

Forks scored three touchdowns and a field goal – but only held at 10-6 advantage at halftime. The highlights for the Warriors were Ricky Ruffo’s 87-yard kickoff return in the fourth quarter which brought CV back into the game and Rocco Testani’s 11-yard bullet to Josh Klepfer in the end zone in the second quarter to put CV up 6-3. They would never regain the lead…
